Tinotenda Dzikiti lives with type 1 diabetes in Zimbabwe. He earned an honors degree in financial intelligence from the Bindura University of Science Education before becoming a certified diabetes educator and a global advocate for T1International. For the International Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Diabetes (ISPAD), he serves as a co-chair of the Membership Committee and a co-lead for a special interest group, Diabetes in Africa and Limited Resource Settings. He is an ambassador for the Zimbabwe Diabetes Association and both a Young Leader in Diabetes and the Africa Representative-Elect for the International Diabetes Federation.

Dzikiti was one the first eight advocates to join the NCDI Poverty Network’s Voices for PEN-Plus program, which launched in September 2023.
